Do you feel like it’s taking you too long to get to your destination? Do you find yourself swimming in financial debt with no safety boat in sight? Do you want various streams of income, but don’t know where to start?

If this sounds like YOU, you’re going to be inspired by this episode.

Tim Rhode, is the creative force behind 1lifefullylived.org and is a rare individual who “walks the walk” of what he teaches. He got off to a VERY slow start in life. He barely graduated from high school, and never went to college.

At 25, Tim was a part-time grocery clerk and he also painted addresses on people’s curbs so he could buy diapers for his kids. Tim went on to dream, plan, and create his own ‘magnificent life’ and has a diverse range of talents that can help others create the life of their dreams.

He finally found his passion for selling real estate and within 18 years, he sold over 2,500 homes. Every year as his income continued to grow, he continued living “small” and invested his income and reinvested his profits. Tim created a vision that inspired him. He wrote a plan and stuck to it! He worked hard, managed his finances, spent less than he earned and learned how to invest. He kept moving forward and created an amazing life for himself and his family.

He created 1Life Fully Lived to change the lives of millions of people across the planet by offering a hand up, instead of a handout. This message is resonating with so many people in all walks of life and is growing by leaps and bounds as people hear about it, they spread the message of empowerment and teach the concepts to lift up more people and build more leaders. Tim understands he has lived a blessed life and wants to spend his senior years helping people of all ages dream, plan and implement their own “magnificent future”.

Rule number 1  Always look for the win/win

Annnd We’re Back Once again….

Sorry for the week delay folks, but we had some serious website issues we had to take care of. All is well now and we’re ready to start rockin’ and rollin’ again with brand-spankin’ new episodes.

Starting with a banging one today…..

In this episode, I chat with Bill Troy, who is an Inc. 500 CEO and a natural-born contrarian who, for 25 years, has helped global brands like Sony, Disney and Nestle see the world from a different perspective.

His forthcoming book, ClickSand: How The Pitchmen of Online Marketing Suck You In and Ruin Your Business, is an explosive wake-up call and warning for business owners about the dangers and hypocrisy in online marketing. In ClickSand, Bill compares giant RMS like HubSpot, Google, and LinkedIn as well as local agencies and consultants in towns big and small to snake-oil pitchmen of the 1800s.

I believe it was Seth Godin who once said, “Marketers Ruin Everything,” and I gotta admit I believe that statement wholeheartedly. Way too many online marketers blend sales with marketing which taints the potentiality of a real relationship.

Bill shares with us his take on modern day marketing and challenges us to rethink on we build relationships with our potential clients. Are you doing it wrong? Are you pushing away your clients? Maybe if you don’t know, but I’m convinced after this episode, you’ll learn some new strategies on how to connect better with your existing audience and new clients.

The topic of fear isn’t explored much in this online entrepreneurial world. We hear about entrepreneurs winning all the time. We’re inundated by motivational quotes and speeches on how to achieve success. But,  hardly do you ever hear much about the biggest emotional hurdle we must all learn to overcome.
FEAR.
Akshay Nanavati is a Marine Corps veteran, adventurer and entrepreneur.
Upon overcoming drug addiction in high school, Akshay enlisted in the United States Marines despite two doctors telling him that boot camp would kill him because of a blood disorder he was born with.
He has since run ultramarathons, climbed mountains in the Himalayas, and skied 350 miles across the world’s second largest icecap. He also spent 7 months in Iraq, where his job was to walk in front of con- voys to find improvised explosive devices.
After the war, he was diagnosed with PTSD and struggled with alcohol until he reached the brink of suici- de. To heal his brain, he spent years studying neuroscience and psychology. This led to the creation of his book “Fearvana: The Revolutionary Science of How to Turn Fear into Health, Wealth and Happiness.”
The Dalai Lama says “Fearvana inspires us to look beyond our own agonizing experiences and find the positive side of our lives.” Seth Godin calls Fearvana “Counterintuitive, practical and potentially life-chan- ging.” Jack Canfield, the coauthor of the #1 New York Times bestselling Chicken Soup for the Soul Series and The Success Principles says “Fearvana is without a doubt, one of the few books that really does stand out as a must read book.”
Today, Akshay runs a global business helping people live limitless lifestyles. His work helps fund his non- profit, the Fearvana Foundation.
Akshay has been featured in Forbes, Psychology Today, entrepreneur.com, CNN, Huffington Post, Run- ners World, NBC, Fox and Military Times, among many others.
This was such an enlightening conversation about the topic of fear and one I know you’ll get a lot of value from. Check out the book, “Fearvana” and leave Akshay a review on Amazon.
Then, come back here and leave a comment below sharing your own thoughts on how you’re overcoming fear. Would love to hear from you
