In this episode, I connected with a good friend of mine who’s been on his grind way before content creation was a “thing” Remember Myspace? Well, he was writing music reviews for local bands and he happened to review one of my music performances.

Lucky for me it was a great music review, so of course, he immediately became my friend;)

All jokes aside, Keith Van Ness is one of the most adept marketing ninjas I know. Not to mention, his hustle is filled with passion, creativity, and generosity. I wholeheartedly believe he will become an influencer in the video marketing industry. Let’s just say I have a special knack for seeing the “it” factor when I see it and he definitely has it.

We recorded this episode in front of cameras at a beautiful rooftop looking over downtown Houston. It was a chilly, windy evening, but we had a few glasses of whiskey (neat) to warm us up. I had a great time sitting down with Keith to dig into his story and discuss Why Video, Why Now?

He’s inspired me to create video content for my platform. Something I’ve been slacking on for quite some time, but now is definitely the time to get started. If you’re a small business owner, solopreneur, creative, content creator, etc….YOU are going to dig this interview with none other than Keith Van Ness aka The Video Marketing Ninja.

If you’re not on video, you’re falling behind” Keith Van Ness

In this conversation, you”ll learn

  • Why YOU need to start recording video today
  • The number one tip on how to get started
  • The biggest, most common mistake video makers make. Don’t do this!!

Hope you’re having a great week so far. Excited to share this episode with you for two reasons. First, this is episode numero 30!  The big 3-0! Feels great to have 30 episodes in the bag.  Can you believe that? Crazzzyy!! Anyhow….

In today’s episode, I had an opportunity to reconnect with an old friend. We met at a live event, stayed n touch, and now we’re on this episode catching up. So much has happened. I started my journey as a podcaster and she’s gone on to travel the world while delivering great value with her online business.

Gabby Wallace didn’t’ have a typical business plan. She was an english school teacher with a passion to teach her students how to excel in the english language. Her side hustle became her full hustle launching her site, Go Natural English and a successful youtube channel. But, hey, it didn’t happen over night.

Here’s a story of someone who accidentally stumbled upon something that would take her on a world travel adventure and mold her into a nomadic teaching entrepreneur. That was simply chapter two of her story. Take a listen.

In this episode, you’ll learn

  • Tips on how to become a nomadic entrepreneur
  • The importance of creating your own work flow
  • Tips on how to level up your youtube channel
  • Pricing your online courses

This is kind of a big deal for me. Why? Well, because they say there’s a “7- episode curse” on new podcasters and guess what??? This is number 20 for me!! There’s no turning down the volume on this podcaster;) We’re keeping it moving and groovin’

I had to bring a special guest for today’s 20th episode! I connected with this dapper gentleman earlier this year at a conference he and his co-business partner started called “Style Con” We chatted a few times during the event. We hit it off right away. We connected afterwards and made this happen.

Aaron Marino is an entrepreneur who understands the power of blending valuable content with entrepreneurship. After a failed business which landed him into bankruptcy, he picked himself back up (like successful entrepreneurs do) and started a new journey. One that has catapulted him into youtube stardom helping men transform their lives through fashion, self improvement and fitness.

He’s been creating content since 2008 on youtube and one million subscribers later, he’s a fashionable business man with multiple businesses and has been on Shark Tank twice! Which by the way, he crushed both of his Shark Thank pitches. I’m honored to share with you my conversation with Aaron Marino. Cheers!

People reward authenticity – Aaron Marino

In this episode, you’ll learn

  • How to stand out with your content creation
  • Embracing your imperfect start
  • Why it’s important to make your work informative and entertaining
  • The importance of providing more value than product pitches
